Dominican extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 7-0 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the St. Catherine's Angels. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lily Weiler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

Weiler wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cate Wahlen, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Lulu Sims was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As for St. Catherine's, they now have a losing record of 6-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

Like Dominican, St. Catherine's also got a great game from a two-way player: Annika Munoz. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Munoz was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Londyn Pardo was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Dominican will have a chance to go back-to-back against St. Catherine's: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
