Basketball Recap: Kennedi Benton Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Social Circle

On Saturday, the Parkview Panthers didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Social Circle Redskins, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly four points.

Parkview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kennedi Benton out in front who went 7 for 15 on her way to 18 points and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Benton has scored at least a third of Parkview's points. Aziza Smith was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards.

Parkview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive games.
