It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lockney ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Ropes Eagles 11-10. The win was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on three straight.

J'Lynn Borjas was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidyn Torres, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

The victory got Lockney back to even at 12-12-1. As for Ropes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Lockney has already played their next contest, a 14-11 defeat against Crosbyton on the 17th. As for Ropes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 20-4 win against Petersburg on the 18th.
