Old Town and Hermon are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Coyotes will face off against the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Saturday, Old Town didn't have quite enough to beat Mount Desert Island and fell 7-6.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Hermon nor Mount Desert Island made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Hawks' pitcher stepped up to hand the Trojans a 5-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Hawks as they're now sitting on three straight.

The result came thanks to Mikelle Verrill's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hermon's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Katie Fowler, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Kenzie Gallant also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Hermon's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Old Town, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Old Town was able to grind out a solid win over Hermon in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
