Recap: Bradford Owls vs. St. Marys Flying Dutch
There's no place like home for the Bradford Owls, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past St. Marys 67-40 at home. The win was just what Bradford needed coming off of a 80-45 loss in their prior matchup.
Several Flying Dutch players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quin Gavazzi, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Dan Schutz was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Bradford's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5. As for St. Marys, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
