For the second straight game, Chartiers-Houston will face off against Fort Cherry. The Buccaneers are taking a road trip to square off against the Rangers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chartiers-Houston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Fort Cherry hit Chartiers-Houston with a four-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 8-7.

For Fort Cherry's part, Ryan Huey made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Huey has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Landon Trnavsky was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Fort Cherry is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Chartiers-Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
