Papillion-LaVista South won the last time they faced Lincoln East and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Lyric Judson paced Papillion-LaVista South's offense, picking up eight kills. Judson got some help from Ella Eymann and her 20 assists.

Despite the loss, Lincoln East saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eva Gutz had ten digs and two assists. Gutz has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played. Maddie Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Papillion-LaVista South's record now sits at 15-5. As for Lincoln East, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Coincidentally, Papillion-LaVista South and Lincoln East will both be playing Papillion-LaVista the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
