The Centurions haven't had any issues with the Jayhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Sewickley Academy's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 24-3.
