Volleyball Recap: North Central's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

North Central lost against Herreid/Selby back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Thunder fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Thunder's undefeated start to the season.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, North Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-13.

Amree VanderVorst paced North Central's offense, picking up nine kills. VanderVorst got some help from Camryn Witlock and her eight assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Central fell to 3-1. As for Herreid/Selby, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

North Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] on the 2nd. As for Herreid/Selby, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mobridge-Pollock on the 2nd.
