Volleyball Game Preview: Lee County Yellow Jackets vs. Franklinton Red Rams

The Lee County Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to square off against the Franklinton Red Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklinton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lee County, who comes in off a win.

Lee County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Triton by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

Lee County was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 21-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Franklinton came up short against Wake Forest on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Lee County's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Franklinton, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.

Lee County might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Franklinton in their previous meeting back in October of 2021. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
