Volleyball Recap: Space Coast Takes a Loss

Space Coast was the 3-0 winner over Rockledge when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vipers lost 3-0 to the Raiders on Thursday. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Isabella Taylor paced Space Coast's offense, picking up ten kills. Taylor got some help from Gwenyth Cotham and her 18 assists. Haley Cowling controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Space Coast's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Rockledge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Space Coast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Edgewood on the 29th. As for Rockledge, they will head out to challenge Cocoa Beach at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
