Recap: Drew vs. Northside Patriots
Drew's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Northside, falling 60-7. Drew has struggled against the Patriots recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Zariah Davis was nothing short of spectacular for Northside: she scored 22 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Thomas, who scored 13 points.
Drew's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.6 points per game. As for Northside, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.
