Applewood Christian is 7-0 against Show-Me Christian since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row dating back to last season, Applewood Christian turned things around against Lighthouse Prep Academy last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 58-50. Applewood Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Show-Me Christian came into Tuesday's game having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 36-21 win over Outreach Christian last Tuesday.

Applewood Christian better keep an eye on Drew Puckett. He was instrumental in Show-Me Christian's win, going 7 of 15 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Puckett has scored at least a third of Show-Me Christian's points.

Show-Me Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Applewood Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Applewood Christian beat Show-Me Christian 41-28 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Applewood Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
