Iowa City had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.1 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They never let the Davenport North Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Iowa City, who have now won 17 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Iowa City pushed their record up to 23-7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Davenport North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10-2 record this season.

Iowa City didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Valley on the 28th. Davenport North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
