Spanish Fort faced Gulf Shores in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Toros were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dolphins. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in September.

Spanish Fort walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

London Tucker paced Spanish Fort's offense, picking up ten kills. Tucker got some help from Cailyn Boykin and her 34 assists. Finally, Zoe Beech and Cayden Dorger kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked four attacks.

Spanish Fort has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 53-8 record this season. As for Gulf Shores, their defeat dropped their record down to 30-10.
