Softball Game Preview: Center Point Pirates vs. Junction Eagles

Center Point is 6-1 against Junction since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Center Point Pirates will welcome the Junction Eagles at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Center Point lost 23-4 to Harper on Friday. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Grace Geurin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.

Meanwhile, Junction was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Johnson City, falling 14-3.

Center Point now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Junction, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
