Baseball Game Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. Argonaut Mustangs

The Amador Buffaloes will challenge the Argonaut Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amador will be strutting in after a victory while Argonaut will be coming in after a defeat.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Amador nor Bear Creek made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Buffaloes never let the Bruins get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Brad Blankenheim was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Vincent Lee, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Argonaut's offense. They came up short against Bradshaw Christian on Monday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Amador, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12-1.
