Volleyball Recap: Nederland Comes Up Short

The Nederland Bulldogs came up short against the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nederland was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fort Bend Hightower work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 25-18.

Nederland's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Nederland has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Bridge City on the 2nd. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Stafford on the 28th.
