They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Northeast Hurricanes 53-12 at home. Sakib Muhammad was a one-man wrecking crew for South Plantation as he rushed for 54 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Muhammad has posted since back in October of 2023. Another player making a difference was Brian Stewart, who picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
South Plantation's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Caleb Thomas and Raymond Paolillo, who racked up four sacks between them.
South Plantation now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Northeast, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
