Volleyball Recap: Tri-Central Trojans vs. Morristown Yellow Jackets
Tri-Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morristown Yellow Jackets. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellow Jackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-8.
Tri-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Morristown, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Central will venture away from home to face off against Carroll at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morristown, their road trip will continue as they head out to face South Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Decatur is coming into the game with five straight victories at home, so Morristown will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
