Softball Recap: Coon Rapids Comes Up Short

Coon Rapids managed to slip by Osseo the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 9-1 to the Orioles on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly eight runs.

Coon Rapids saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Poser, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Coon Rapids and nudges their season record down to 5-9. As for Osseo, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coon Rapids will host Robbinsdale Armstrong at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Osseo, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Waconia at 3:15 p.m.
