Basketball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 60-48 to the Carrollton Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Minutemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Trojans are ranked 120th).

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Carrollton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will take on Lafayette County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carrollton, they will challenge Sweet Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
