Football Recap: Saranac Lake Comes Up Short

Saranac Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 33-13 to the Saranac Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Storm of the 49-18 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Saranac Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Saranac, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Saranac Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saranac, they will host Keene Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
