Football Recap: Wauconda's Rushing Dominance Continues

Wauconda hadn't done well against Antioch recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs snuck past the Sequoits with a 25-20 win. The 25-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Cole Korycanek had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 60 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 56 yards.

Korycanek was just one part of a punishing run game: Wauconda was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 224 rushing yards in ten consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Wauconda's record now sits at 8-0. As for Antioch, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
