Basketball Recap: South Baldwin Christian Academy Takes a Loss

South Baldwin Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 66-57 to the East Hill Christian Eagles. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 52-23.

East Hill Christian found their leader in sophomore Hudson Hooten, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hooten has scored all season. Austin Lockard was another key player, going 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.

South Baldwin Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for East Hill Christian, their record is now 6-8.

South Baldwin Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Gulf Pointe Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Hill Christian, they will face off against Aletheia Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
