Soccer Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Piedmont Hills Pirates. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Eagles were already down 5-1.

Oak Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Piedmont Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-4.

Oak Grove will venture away from home to square off against Prospect at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Prospect's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Piedmont Hills, they will welcome Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
