Basketball Game Preview: Waukesha West Wolverines vs. Brookfield Central Lancers

The Waukesha West Wolverines will take on the Brookfield Central Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Waukesha West took a blow against Arrowhead, falling 83-43. The Wolverines have struggled against the Warhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Brookfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 58-44 to Brookfield East. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Spartans are ranked 14th).

Waukesha West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Brookfield Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Waukesha West beat Brookfield Central 57-47 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Waukesha West repeat their success, or does Brookfield Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
