Taos is a perfect 10-0 against Pojoaque Valley since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will square off against the Elks/Elkettes at 5:00 p.m. Taos will be strutting in after a win while Pojoaque Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Taos will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Monte Del Sol Charter on Monday. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Dragons a 10-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Lucy Schreiber as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Pojoaque Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of West Las Vegas. That's two games in a row now that Pojoaque Valley have lost by just one goal.

Taos' victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Pojoaque Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Taos took their win against Pojoaque Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Elks/Elkettes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
