Catholic Central has gone a perfect 3-0 against St. Francis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hilltoppers will challenge the Mariners at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Catholic Central lost 11-5 to Racine Case on Tuesday.

Catholic Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Brauer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, St. Francis was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Brookfield Academy, falling 11-1. The Mariners haven't had much luck with the Blue Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Catholic Central beat St. Francis 12-8 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Hilltoppers repeat their success, or do the Mariners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
