Basketball Game Preview: West Noble Chargers vs. Prairie Heights Panthers

The West Noble Chargers and the Prairie Heights Panthers will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

West Noble is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Elkhart on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. West Noble might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Elkhart an easy 47-22 win. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Lions are ranked 143rd).

Marley Mast was West Noble's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Ava Delong held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Allison Recendiz took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Meanwhile, Prairie Heights came up short against Churubusco on Friday and fell 52-40.

Prairie Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for West Noble, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
