Basketball Game Preview: McLaughlin Mustangs vs. Winner Warriors

McLaughlin hasn't had much luck against Winner recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. McLaughlin has given up an average of 57.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McLaughlin might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-20 to Lemmon, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Winner lost to Gregory on the road by a 58-41 margin on Monday.

McLaughlin's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Winner, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

McLaughlin came up short against Winner in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, falling 50-44. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
