Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Madison Jarrell and Carli Wallace Lead Franklin Heights to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbus Academy, Franklin Heights was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Grandview Heights Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-18.

Leading Franklin Heights to victory were Carli Wallace and Madison Jarrell. Wallace had 24 digs and three aces, while Jarrell had 23 digs and two assists. That's the most aces Wallace has posted since back in September of 2024.

Franklin Heights now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grandview Heights, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Franklin Heights and Grandview Heights will both be playing West the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will head out to face the Cowboys at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
