Ririe took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Salmon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Savages 6-5 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 30, 2025.

Ririe picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-11. As for Salmon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8-1.

Coming up, Ririe will challenge West Side at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Salmon, they will square off against West Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.6 runs per game on average), something the Savages will no doubt try to take advantage of.
