Softball Recap: Winneconne Comes Up Short

If Winneconne was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Iola-Scandinavia last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waupun Warriors on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Winneconne now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Waupun, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Winneconne wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-1 victory against Ripon on the 10th. As for Waupun, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-0 win against Berlin on the 10th.
