Soccer Recap: Winslow Takes a Loss

Winslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Snowflake Lobos. While losing is never fun, Winslow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Snowflake are ranked ninth).

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Snowflake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Winslow will square off against rival St. Johns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Snowflake is set to face off against their familiar foe Round Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
