Preview: Cyril vs. Bray-Doyle
Cyril will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Bray-Doyle at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close contest.
After a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Cyril were humbled last Friday. They took a serious blow against Mountain View-Gotebo, falling 8-44. Cyril's loss came about despite a quality game from sophomore Koby Missey, who caught passes for 91 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, if Bray-Doyle were riding high off their 58-13 takedown of Thackerville, that ride came to an abrupt end. Bray-Doyle were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 22-26 to Paoli.
The losses dropped Cyril to 1-1 and Bray-Doyle 2-1. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
