Basketball Recap: Emmonak Comes Up Short

Emmonak has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Scammon Bay Eagles. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 53-47.

DALLAS KAGANAK went supernova for Scammon Bay, putting up 25 points. The dominant performance gave KAGANAK a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of ALBERT YUNAK, who posted 12 points.

Emmonak's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Scammon Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Emmonak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scammon Bay, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-58 victory against Hooper Bay on the 15th.
