Soccer Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

Mt. St. Joseph Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Villa Joseph Marie Jems. While losing is never fun, Mt. St. Joseph Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Villa Joseph Marie are ranked 77th).

Mt. St. Joseph Academy's record is now 3-9-2. As for Villa Joseph Marie, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mt. St. Joseph Academy and Villa Joseph Marie will both be playing Gwynedd Mercy Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Jems will head out to face the Monarchs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Magic will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on October 9.
