Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Kingsley-Pierson

Kingsley-Pierson waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-49 win over the St. Mary's Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-38 back in January.

Kingsley-Pierson pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Coming up, Kingsley-Pierson will face off against Newell-Fonda on Tuesday. Newell-Fonda knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matches -- so hopefully Kingsley-Pierson likes a good challenge. St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
