League recap: Palo Alto's Ramkumar delivers best pitching performance from past week

De Anza league recap: 4/3/13

Rohit Ramkumar was the best pitcher in De Anza this week, leading Palo Alto. Over the past week, he racked up one win and eight strikeouts.

Wilcox outperformed the rest of the league this week, as its two total wins led the league. The Chargers beat Santa Clara 5-0 and the Bruins 4-0.

The Vikings' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing ten hits and zero walks to lead the league in both categories.

There were six hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. Leading the pack was Isaac Feldstein, who hit .714 by going 5-for-7.

Isaac Feldstein drove in four home runs this week.



John Mcalister drove in four runners as Mountain View defeated Gunn 15-7 on Wednesday. He went 2-for-3 and scored one run.

Ramkumar led Palo Alto to a win on March 27, as he notched eight strikeouts to beat Los Altos, 10-1. He gave up six hits and one run over seven innings of work.
