Football Recap: Lake Hamilton Comes Up Short

Lake Hamilton extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They were beaten by the Greenwood Bulldogs 42-10. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked fourth).

Jace Bohannan threw for 111 yards on ten of 19 attempts. Dj Wilson was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards.

As for Greenwood, their record now sits at 7-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 32 points or more this season.

Kane Archer was his usual excellent self, throwing for 345 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 31 yards. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Cooper Bland was another key player, picking up 109 receiving yards and three scores.

Coming up, Lake Hamilton will face off against Mountain Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Bombers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups. As for Greenwood, they will take on Van Buren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pointers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
