Recap: Kehillah Rams vs. The Nueva School Mavericks
It was a good run, but the Kehillah Rams unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They were the victim of a tough 58-37 defeat at the hands of The Nueva School. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kehillah has scored all season.
The Nueva School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Ciechanover out in front who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Lee, who scored 12 points.
Kehillah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-1. As for The Nueva School, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kehillah will take on Pacific Bay Christian at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Nueva School won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Menlo School at 5:30 p.m. on January 12th. Menlo School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than The Nueva School in California (Menlo School is ranked 288th, while The Nueva School is ranked 695th).
