Softball Recap: University Charter Takes a Loss

University Charter lost against Sweet Water back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trail Blazers lost 14-3 to the Bulldogs. The Trail Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

University Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Bolden, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

University Charter's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Sweet Water, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University Charter will square off against Tuscaloosa Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trail Blazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season. As for Sweet Water, they will take on Choctaw County at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
