Basketball Preview: Belle Fourche Broncs vs. Custer Wildcats
Belle Fourche has been on the road for three straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Custer Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Belle Fourche lost to the Tigers on the road by a decisive 65-49 margin.
Belle Fourche's loss came about despite a quality game from Jet Jensen, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Sern Weishaar, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Custer faced the Bison in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Custer fell just short of the Bison by a score of 50-48. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Custer in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost four in a row.
Belle Fourche's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Custer, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
