If Winnacunnet was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Alvirne on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 4-2 to the Hanover Bears on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Winnacunnet of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Christian Souney and Nate Dillon scored both of Winnacunnet's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Winnacunnet's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-3. As for Hanover, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-2.
