24 must be Alexander's lucky number: they beat Clyde-Savannah with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Trojans beat the Golden Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 24-5. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Alexander and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.0 runs over those games. As for Clyde-Savannah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
