Volleyball Recap: Penfield Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Shenendehowa

Penfield faced Shenendehowa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Plainsmen. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Plainsmen from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Penfield and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Shenendehowa, their record is now 14-4-3.

Coming up, Penfield is taking a road trip to face off against Spencerport at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shenendehowa, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary's on the 27th.
