Volleyball Recap: Zion Academy Takes a Loss

Zion Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Carolina Baptist Academy Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Zion Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Carolina Baptist Academy, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Zion Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against The Covenant School on the 21st. Hopefully Carolina Baptist Academy paid attention to the Lions' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
