Softball Recap: Teton Timberwolves vs. South Fremont Cougars

After flying high against Sugar-Salem on Monday, Teton came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the South Fremont Cougars by a score of 14-13 on Wednesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (12), the Timberwolves still had to take the loss.

Brinlee Albertson led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kapri Eiden, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Teton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for South Fremont, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
