Soccer Recap: Godley Comes Up Short

Godley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Mineral Wells Rams. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in March of 2020.

Godley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Mineral Wells, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Godley will challenge Venus at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Mineral Wells, they will be playing at home against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorial will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mineral Wells surely won't give up without a fight.
